Aoun chairs security meeting at Baabda Palace on south situation

President Aoun chaired a security meeting at Baabda Palace to discuss the security situation in the south in general and the Nabatieh area in particular. He said any security vacuum in the south would provide a pretext for attacks and undermine national sovereignty, adding that the security deployment in Nabatieh is linked to Lebanon’s state commitments and its negotiating position in the talks with Israel.
