Srifa municipality rejects claims of military facilities in the town

Srifa municipality said in a statement that a media figure’s remarks in a television interview about military facilities in the town were inaccurate and could cause confusion at a sensitive time in Srifa. The municipality stressed its close relationship with the Lebanese Army, praising its role in maintaining security and stability and supporting residents and the municipality during difficult circumstances. It said Srifa, which has given its best young men as martyrs for Lebanon, will remain committed to its land, national unity, and its national relationship with the Lebanese Army. It also said that Ali Barro had spoken in a media interview about several facilities and named the villages where they are located, including Srifa.
