Houthis say Red Sea navigation is safe and targeted
The Houthis said maritime navigation is safe and that the security of navigation has no connection to the clashes on the western coast, adding that their operations have specific targets and will stop once the blockade on Yemen is lifted. Yemen's Humanitarian Operations Coordination Center informed all global shipping companies that navigation in the Red Sea is safe for all companies, except for the previous ban on Saudi ships. The Yemeni Supreme Political Council said clashes have ceased in the districts of the western coast after the expulsion of Saudi mobilizations, renewed its commitment to all international obligations regarding navigation in the Red Sea, and called on those concerned about maritime navigation security to pressure Saudi Arabia to stop the militarization of mercenaries in these areas.
