Yemeni army says Saudi airstrikes hit four provinces, formation repelled in Taiz

Yemen's armed forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said Saudi warplanes carried out 64 airstrikes over the past 24 hours across the provinces of Taiz, Hodeidah, Marib and Al Jawf, using F-15 and Typhoon aircraft that took off from King Fahd Air Base in Taif and King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. He added that the Yemeni armed forces had just repelled a combat formation in Taiz province and forced it to withdraw by targeting it with several locally made surface-to-air missiles.
