Israeli Army Blows Up Ali Taher Tunnels Amid Response Fears

The Israeli army blew up tunnels and underground infrastructure in the Ali Taher Heights in southern Lebanon overnight, amid high alert in Israel and fears of a response from Hezbollah or Iran. Israeli media said the army informed northern settlements it would carry out violent explosions tonight in Lebanon in the Ali Taher area and strike other places. The Israeli army spokesman said the forces destroyed underground infrastructure in the area after gaining operational control over the heights above and below ground, and that more than 1,100 tons of explosives were used. Netanyahu said the Israeli army is now dealing with the Ali Taher Heights area, and said the army had destroyed the Qalaat al-Shaqif Heights and is now dealing with the Ali Taher Heights in southern Lebanon.
