Palestine: Report says Israel studies long-term security scenarios through 2027

In Palestine, The International Center for Security and Geopolitical Studies said a report concluded that Israel is studying long-term security scenarios through 2027, including restructuring security control zones in areas adjacent to the separation wall, expanding the use of smart monitoring systems and artificial intelligence, and linking them to regional command centers. The report said the scenarios include redesignating some areas into multi-level security belts based on continuous surveillance, drones, and ground sensors, while reducing reliance on traditional patrols. It added that the scenarios also include strengthening control over key axes and expanding security infrastructure in sensitive areas to allow for a rapid response to any field developments. The report said these assessments remain within planning and analytical scenarios and do not necessarily mean there is an official decision to implement them, but they reflect security trends being evaluated in light of regional developments.
