IDF destroys Hezbollah tunnels beneath Ali Taher Ridge
Enemy media: 🔴 IDF: We destroyed the tunnel complex beneath Ali Taher Ridge in southern Lebanon last night after scanning inside it. The military said some 50 Hezbollah operatives were believed to be holed up under the ridge when the new ceasefire took effect in June, and said no members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps were in the tunnels, contrary to recent reports. It added that it killed many Hezbollah operatives during the assault to seize the site, including some trying to flee the tunnels and some trying to bring reinforcements. A video published by the military shows two operatives being struck after opening fire from one of the tunnel shafts. Around a dozen bodies were found inside the tunnels, according to the IDF, while some operatives are assessed to have fled the area.
