Oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia hit by drones from Iraq

🔴 Saudi Arabia's East-West oil pipeline was hit by drones coming from Iraq, causing fires and major damage that would be difficult to repair soon. The Saudi Press Agency said the strikes resulted in some injuries, while the Saudi Ministry of Energy said the pipeline was hit by repeated attacks that left casualties. A Saudi official told CNN that Iraq is accused of shelling the pipeline through which Saudi Arabia exports oil after the Strait of Hormuz blockade, and CNN said, citing officials, that it was not immediately clear how long repairs would take. The sources also said the pipeline was targeted near Medina and Riyadh, and that it is a key oil artery for exports through the Red Sea.
