Army arrests several people and seizes weapons in north Lebanon

🔴 The army said it arrested in Akrum in Akkar the citizens F.K., S.K. and A.K. for involvement in cross-border smuggling. It also said another unit arrested the citizen A.M. at the Al-Mankoubin checkpoint in Minieh over a dispute that involved gunfire, seizing a military pistol in his possession, and arrested the Syrian A.M. in the Bzioon area of Jbeil for firing shots. Army units also carried out raids in al-Jiyyeh in Chouf and Wadi Khaled in Akkar, seizing quantities of weapons and military ammunition.
