Mohammed bin Salman seeks intelligence help against Houthis through intermediaries

Yisrael Hayom reported, citing regional diplomatic sources, that Mohammed bin Salman approached Israel through the United States requesting intelligence assistance and other help to prevent the Houthis from closing the Bab al-Mandab. Israeli media added that the Saudi crown prince sent messages to other countries in the Middle East, and indirectly to Israel as well, asking for help in the war against the Houthis, in which he appears to be suffering heavy losses. The same sources said Mohammed bin Salman called Trump twice the day before yesterday and pleaded for assistance, and that Trump replied, "This is not our conflict," while Israel reportedly said, "We have nothing to do with this conflict as long as they do not attack us." Yisrael Hayom also said the request was made through CENTCOM.
