Yemeni forces seize sites west of Taiz and advance

Yemeni forces have seized Al-Ajram, Al-Ahraz and Gheil Bani Omar in Al-Shaamayteen district west of Taiz. The official Yemeni news agency said government forces recaptured positions west of Taiz and advanced into new areas with air support. It added that completing the encirclement of Taiz City appears closer from the Hajjah front to the east and Jabal Habashi district to the west, alongside the Yemeni forces' control of the strategic Kahboub mountain range overlooking Bab al-Mandab and Ras al-Ara.
