Israeli strikes, shelling, and explosions hit towns in southern Lebanon

Israeli warplanes struck Wadi Zibqin, and the Israeli army carried out an explosion in the town of Kounine. Shelling also hit Wadi Zibqin. A summary of Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory dated 13/9/2026 said airstrikes targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Tibnit, Ali al-Taher, the outskirts of Mifadoun, Qantara, Wadi Zibqin, the area between Hadaitha and Haris, and al-Mansouri. It said artillery shelling hit Wadi al-Slouki, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, al-Mansouri, Wadi Zibqin, Hadaitha, Bayt Yahoun, Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Srebin, Kfar Tibnit, and Ali al-Taher. It added that explosions were carried out in Bayt Yahoun, al-Mansouri, al-Tiri, Majdalzoun, Qantara, Zawtar al-Sharqiya, and Kounine, while sound bombs were thrown in al-Mansouri and flares in Houla and Markaba.
