Ship struck by unknown projectile in the Strait of Hormuz
The British Maritime Trade Operations reported that a bulk cargo ship was struck by an unknown projectile while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, causing damage to the ship's starboard side and injuring one crew member. UKMTO also said it received a delayed report of the incident from a third party, noting that there is no report of environmental impact. Authorities are investigating, and vessels are advised to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
