Israeli army says Hamas commander killed in Khan Younis strike

Enemy media: The IDF says Ismail Mohammed Ibrahim Barim was killed in a strike in southern Gaza yesterday. The strike in Khan Younis targeted a Hamas commander who, according to the army, took part in holding Edan Alexander, Matan Zangauker and Avera Mengistu hostage in southern Gaza. The IDF said Barim had recently advanced attacks on troops and Israeli civilians and worked to restore Hamas capabilities, "while systematically violating the ceasefire." The army added that the strike was carried out to remove the threat.
