IDF says it killed Hamas commander in Khan Younis airstrike

Enemy media: The IDF says it killed Mohammad Mahmoud Marshad al-Qadi, a company commander in Hamas's elite Nukhba Force, in an airstrike in Khan Younis in southern Gaza on Wednesday. It said al-Qadi led the October 7, 2023 raid on the military's Sufa post on the Gaza border and held hostages in the Rafah area during the war. The military added that al-Qadi had recently been leading training for Hamas members, working to restore the group's capabilities and advance attacks against Israeli troops and civilians, in what it called a systematic violation of the ceasefire, and said he was eliminated to remove the threat he posed.
