Clash near Beaufort Castle leaves two soldiers wounded, fighter killed
A Hezbollah fighter opened fire on an Israeli force near Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon during house searches in the area, injuring two Golani Brigade soldiers and killing the fighter. The Israeli Broadcasting Authority said the two soldiers were from the Golani reconnaissance unit and suffered light wounds during an armed clash with a Hezbollah member in the Beaufort mountain range area. The Israeli army said its forces returned fire after the fighter was inside a building and killed him. Army radio also said Hezbollah violated the ceasefire agreement for the second time in less than 24 hours.
