President Aoun makes surprise early-morning visit to Nabatieh

Breaking: President Joseph Aoun paid a secret and surprise visit to the city of Nabatieh this morning, arriving at 7 a.m., with the visit program still unknown. He was accompanied by Army Commander General Rodolphe Haykal and security chiefs. Aoun said during his meeting with residents that the purpose of the visit was to tell them that the state stands by them, and to discuss securing all services for them so they can remain there and feel safe. He inspected Nabatieh Governmental University Hospital, military units in the city, and also visited the Nabatieh Serail and the Union of Nabatieh Municipalities, where he met municipal heads.
