Heikal meets Frangieh, Abdel Massih, Malaysia envoy, and press syndicate head

Army Commander General Rodolphe Heikal received in his office in Yarzeh MPs Tony Frangieh and Adib Abdel Massih, Lebanon's ambassador to Malaysia Maher Al-Khair, and Press Syndicate head Aouni Al-Kaaki with a delegation of syndicate members. The meetings discussed general developments and the current situation in Lebanon and the region, with emphasis on the importance of the armed forces' role in preserving stability, internal unity, and civil peace, and praise for the sacrifices and efforts made by the army, especially in the south.
