Aoun visits Nabatieh, reaffirms withdrawal, return and reconstruction
The Lebanese president made a surprise visit to Nabatieh and said that Israel's withdrawal, the return of displaced people, and reconstruction are national constants that they are committed to, under the banner that security is a right for southerners. The day’s newspaper headlines also said that postponing negotiations until October keeps the door to escalation open.
